How we work
At Occeane we use a a Content management system called WordPress to build your website. WordPress is used by millions of businesses all over the world and is universally recognised as being simple to use, very reliable and robust. The reason we use a content management system is we think it’s very important for you to be able to update your own website – it’s faster and much more cost effective than asking us to do it (if you ever get stuck we’ll certainly help) and it enables you to keep your site really up to date with new pictures, blog posts, testimonials and much, much more.
Our prices are affordable because we work in a simple straightforward way:
You choose a template (there are over 25 including colour choices) – the templates on this site show generic information and your site will feature your pictures and your text exclusively; we also supply, free of charge, all icons for highlighting sections.
You choose the jobs you want your site to do like show maps, show videos, take bookings or payment or have a gallery etc.
Now you can place your order and we’ll send you an invoice by email with a link to pay your 50% deposit
Now we’ll contact you by telephone to discuss what you’ve ordered and make sure you’re getting what you need
You can decide now whether you want us to host your website and/or register a domain name for you
Then you send us some pictures and some words (or we’ll do the copywriting if you want) and we’ll build your website (this usually takes between 3 and 6 weeks depending on what you’ve ordered)
You can also see at a glance the cost (there are no hidden charges) as you make your choices
When we’ve finished, we’ll send you a link to check everything is OK and for you to sign-off the project
We also include some comprehensive tutorials to ensure you can keep your site up to date. If you’re too busy we can always do it for you.
